Operation of infrared heating film by Mission Air® brand.

By generating resistance on the graphite strands, the mat leads to the emission of infrared radiation, which is completely safe for the health and life of household members.

In the first place, the heat emitted by the foil is felt directly by those in the room. Thanks to this phenomenon, the pleasant temperature is felt by us extremely quickly. We do not have to wait for the system to heat up the air, which only later warms us, as is the case with traditional convection heating.

Secondarily, the system also directly affects the objects in the room. To the greatest extent, the film will heat the floor under which it is installed. In this way, we get the much-loved effect of a warm floor, as in the case of traditional water floor heating.

PTC works on the principle that the resistance of the circuit increases as the temperature increases. Subsequently, this results in the phenomenon of lowering the current flowing through the heating element. Therefore, we can safely say that the power of the circuit decreases as the temperature increases.

Thanks to its self-regulation, PTC heating elements cannot overheat, which makes it a particularly safe and reliable heating technology.

Floor, wall or ceiling heating

Infrared heating film heating system can be used as: electric floor heating system, wall heating system or even ceiling heating system.

The use of heating foil as underfloor heating, will allow us to achieve the much-loved effect of a warm floor, as with traditional water-based underfloor heating. Infrared heating film can be installed under a laminate or tile floor. Each of these methods requires a specialized installation scheme, which is presented later in the description.

A wall or ceiling system is recommended if we do not have the ability to effectively use the floor space due to, for example: a large amount of fixed furniture or the desire to use thick carpeting.

Can infrared heating film be installed under a shower tray, shower or bathtub?

The heating film must not be installed in the areas most exposed to particular moisture, that is, under the shower tray, shower or bathtub.

Can heating film be installed under furniture?

Infrared heating film can be mounted under furniture that has feet with a minimum height of 3cm and the principle of free air circulation is maintained. The mat must not be installed under furniture that adheres to the floor. Within the application area of the mats should not be laid thick carpets or pet beds.

Can heating film be installed under floor panels?

Can heating film be installed under tiles?
